In March 2017 Red Cape bought a popular local live music promotions company.

With nearly 3000 Facebook followers and a novel idea, Red Cape intent to grow the site and make it the number one Live Music site in the north of England.

The site is to rebrand under the name of Monkey GigsList in the Summer.
