Summer Lovin’ has ended with a wella, wella, umph!!!
And just like that… Summer 2026 is DONE. ❤️
I won’t lie - it’s been a long one.
While everyone sees the finished events, the characters, the dinosaurs, the superheroes, the smiles and hopefully a bit of magic… behind the scenes there have been some seriously long days.
🚐 27 trips to Stoke
🚐 5 trips to Keighley
🚐 3 trips to Bolton
🚐 6 trips to Wakefield
🚐 2 trips to Runcorn
🚐 1 trip to Harrogate
🚐 1 trip to Rochdale
That’s around 3,800 miles on the road just travelling from Huddersfield to those locations and back… and that’s not counting any of the times I’ve set off and had to go back for things I’ve forgotten to pack!! 😂
45 return journeys.
And that’s before you count loading vans, unloading vans, setting up, packing down, fixing things that weren’t broken yesterday, answering messages at ridiculous o’clock and occasionally wondering whose bright idea all this was. 😂
But then you get moments like this. 👇
And you remember exactly why you do it.
To every customer who trusted us with an event this summer, every member of the team who grafted alongside us, and most importantly every family and child who came along and joined in…

We are absolutely knackered.
But incredibly proud.
And apparently we’re doing it all again. 😂

Now then…
Who’s ready for Halloween? 🎃 Before we turn our attention to that season we have a VERY BIG #Christmas launch coming tomorrow (I’ve been building this for two years but couldn’t bring myself to launch it in August - EVERY #grotto #santa #shoppingcentre will need to see this… #WatchThisSpace 🎅🏻 🎄
