The organisers of Huddersfield Comic-Con have announced a ticket sales warning ahead of their latest BIG name guest to be announced - The Examiner can exclusively reveal that Star Wars actor Spencer Wilding, who played Darth Vader himself in Rogue One, is the latest name to be revealed for this year's event which takes place at Kirklees College on Saturday 12th May. Spencer Wilding has played some HUGE roles over the years, alongside Daniel Radcliffe as Frankenstein's monster, one of the first White Walkers in Game of Thrones, and the Minotaur in Wrath of the Titans, but playing Darth Vader is the biggest role of them all. He will be at the convention all day with a very special photo set so you can get a photo with the 6 foot 5 inch tall legend of screen. Other guests now announced include the seventh doctor, Sylvester McCoy and his assistant Ace, Sophie Aldred, along with Pam Rose who's appeared in many films but most notably in the Cantina Bar in Star Wars as well as Space 1999. Clem So travels north to meet his fan base after adding The Last Jedi to his film credits along with films such as Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and James Bond. A fans favourite attending also is James MacKenzie, who played Raven on CBBC for ten season in the 2000's and made a reprieve of his role to hand over the mantle for the new series this year. As well as actors, there's lots of things to do with the Jedi Fight Academy returning to teach youngsters how to use a lightsaber, along with the biggest movie props around heavily influenced by the actors coming - you can be sure to see a tardis, dalek or two and Star Wars props. There will also be the biggest ever display of Jurassic props as the new film arrives this year so dinosaur fans will not be disappointed. With everything going on it's no wonder tickets are selling fast but the team are closely monitoring the ticket sales and are over 75% sold of early bird tickets so fans are being urged to buy sooner rather than later. Tickets are available at www.huddscomiccon.co.uk or search for the event on facebook.
