Bolton didn’t want another #ComicCon

We were tasked with putting on a #Geek style market in #Bolton - But we couldn’t call it a market due to the town’s Market Charter rules (google the law, we could have ended up in the Tower!!)

Importantly, there wasn’t the budget for a comic-con event - but it was very much on the theme of it… So Dave (the centre manager) and his lovely marketing team from Off Beat captured it perfectly by calling it ‘Not Another Comic-Con!’ - so if somebody felt a little underwhelmed by the lack of a full on event we could literally retort well ‘it’s not another comic-con’ but for those not knowing what to expect or perhaps wanted something less intense, it was perfect - the traders traded well, the photo ops were busy all day and the costumers went down a treat!

Box ticked for a successful, small budget with a good impact event! Cracking idea Donna & Dave!
