Thousands come to #Huddersfield #ComicCon

Wow… Where do we start #Huddersfield ? We asked you to support the event, we took massive risks flying not one, but two international guests to our humble town - but you came in your masses and supported it! Thank you so much!

So many people to thank - The team who ran the show, looking after guests, visitors and making the event tick, Huddersfield Town Foundation for being a great #charity partner, Hudd Show Live for a sterling job done in the Q&As and all the help before the show, The Flow Group for great demonstrations and helping get the pre-event word around, GetGraded for putting up a great card service and info for future collectors as well as great contents for the #VIP bags and charity raffle. Back to the 1980s Event & Prop Hire , Rent a Police Car, Adam Corbally, Paul Ow, CPM Entertainers & Red Cape for their amazing cars, Loz Copping for a brilliant charity #fundraiser, Staffordshire Ghostbusters, The East Midlands Garrison, Jessy Pauletto, Anthony Mark Theabould for their costuming efforts, Emily Stephenson for her work on the run up to and her organising and running the #CosplayCompetition, each and everyone of our guests Spencer Wilding, #hughspite #johnsimpkins Ross Beadman, Jeffrey Parazzo, Kevin Duhaney Andrew Lawden, #daneilleebarnett, Martin Caine for bringing #Huddersfield #Gaming to the public in a section that will grow for next year and our fabulous #KPop girls! J A Williams for his readings from #DwarfPlanet all the #Geek traders who brought some really cool stuff - so cool in fact the actors where spending their hard earned cash before going home, and to the team over the days at the @Accu Stadium who made setup, event day and takedown go like clockwork, and the filming by Trevor from @flywithmetrevor - Also shout outs to Huddersfield Town, Mcdonalds, Leeds Road, Packhorse Shopping Centre and Phoenix Squad for their help spreading the good word of #ComicConUK

And of course Victoria Ballard for putting up with months of planning, and the never ending of lugging stuff around a football stadium the seems to go on forever (nearly 50,000 steps in two days for her!)

This show, while a little early in the year (hence the colder Kilner Bank area) we were absolutely delighted with the turnout of people, the show itself and have a few learns for next year to make Huddersfield #ComicCon even bigger and better!

Stay tuned to the page, over the coming week to keep the energy going we will be running a #Competition to see your photos as well as launching a #charity auction for the signed guest banners!

Who’s up for doing it all again in 2027?
